CONSULTATIONS

Vision 21 Partnership are frequently consulted for their views on a range of subjects that affect the Malvern Hills area. A protocol for how the Partnership will respond to consultations can be seen below.

Vision 21 Consultation Protocol

With regard to the establishment of a protocol for dealing with future consultations, it was accepted that different approaches would be needed depending on the type and timing of the consultation. However, the following approaches should be adopted as appropriate:

• If time allows, consultation to be considered by Theme Group with their views considered by Strategic Board;
• If less time available, Workshop for Partners to be held which will agree the response;
• If there is little time or the consultation is not on a major issue, details will be circulated to Partners for views and the Board will agree the response (or authorise the Chair of Vision 21 and Chair of the Strategic Board to respond on their behalf).

Recent Consultations

We have been consulted on the proposals for the Regional Housing Strategy, Malvern Hospital and Worcestershire County Council’s Local Transport Plan 2, which will address the transport needs of Worcestershire between 2006-11.
